love you too. Bye. she said, as Ace looked on. He didn’t want her to leave, he wanted her to stay so they could talk and find out more about each other. “ Now that you mention it, you are tasty,” He said, licking his lips. Then he noticed she had gotten up, and had offered him a hand. Grabbing it, she had probably expected him to get up along with her, but he did just the opposite. He pulled her hand, hoping she would fall on him, only so he could tell her what was feeling for her at that moment.
Just before he had pulled her hand, he looked up and saw that same star that was there earlier, Mom, if you’re listening, please make sure the guy that kidnapped our Angel….has a good stay in Hell. I love you, mom. Ace knew a tear had fell, but he didn’t care. He was all about shedding tears today. To him, today was just a tear shedding day, and he was glad that he got to do it along side with Angel. He loved God for that.

Angelline laughed at his odd comment. "And how would you know that Ace...wait scratch that I know," she said with a slight blush. As she waited for him to grab her hand she wondered what time it actually was. Looking around she saw that they were the only people in the Park at the moment. The moon was high in the sky basking everything in it's etheral glow. Turning back to look at Ace she smiled seeing him in the glow from the moon. "You know you're the one that looks like an angel right now...but when you start to talk you lose the pretenses," she said with a small smirk.
The smirk fell off her face though when he pulled her to him. Letting out a small sound of protest she fell on him. The blush that had stained her cheeks darkened a few shades as she got off him so she wouldn't crush him with her body weight. "Do you want to get crushed?!" she asked as she rolled to the side to once again lie on her back. Flinging one arm over her eyes she closed them and let a laugh escape from her. "That sounds interesting. Ace pancake."

Angel laughed at his comment. “Well I see that someone’s night is turning out good,” with a wink, he added, “Hopefully I can make it better.” He said, as she made the comment on him looking like a angel. As he looked at her, she really did look like a angel. She had finally told Ace her true feelings, and it looked like she was actually, for once in a long while,…. peaceful..
“Ace pancake. Too bad, Angel pancake sounds a lot better, don’t you think?,” As he rolled over on top of her, planting his arms on both sides of her head. “You look beautiful,” He said, grinning like a small boy that finally got the piece of candy he had been longing for. He hated to use such…comparisons, but they were necessary, even though they didn’t fit the situation.

Angelline felt the corner of her mouth twitch into the beginnings of another smile at his cocky attitude. It's just so tempting to mess with him...wait I do that anyways. "I'm sure you can make it better. After all your manner of speech is so...nah I won't finish that it's too harsh," she said lifting her arm off of her eyes.
"And I don't think so..." Seeing him above her she felt a little of her bravado vanish as her voice trailed off. Her heart rate sped up a bit and her eyes darted around looking for a means of escape. It's not that she wasn't enjoying the time they spent together...she just wasn't one of those people comfortable in situations like this. Thinking of a way to escape she did the first thing that came to mind. Propping herself up on her elbows she tilted her head up and kissed him. Maybe this way I can roll him over and then run for it...yeah that sounds like a good enough plan.

“Don’t worry, I wont take offense. I may give you a punishment, though,” he said, as he looked around. There was no one else there, or at least, no one visible to the naked eye. They were all alone in this somewhat large park, covered with gigantic trees, which could be anyone’s hiding spot. It didn’t bother Ace much, he was a fighter.
“Oh….No? I was hoping you would agree for once.” He said, as he noticed she propped herself up on her elbows, and gave him a kiss. A thought came to his mind. What if she’s not comfortable? Like last time, she must be thinking of something to do to run off again. Nope, not this time. He did the thing that was the hardest for him to do, and that was, call it a evening. “Angel, let’s go home. You drove here right? If you did, I’ll follow you to your house on my motorcycle and I’ll make my way home from there. Okay?” He asked, rolling off of her, and landing besides Angel.

Angelline sighed in relief as he rolled off of her. She must admit she was a bit surprised at this sudden turn of events, but she wouldn't complain. Standing up she dusted herself off of any traces of dirt or blades of grass that might've gotten stuck to her clothes. Replaying his last few words to her she froze and spun around sharply to face Ace.
"Wait I didn't know you drove a motorcycle!" she exclaimed with wide eyes. Stopping herself from saying anything else she doubled over laughing and shook her head. "We really don't know much about each other right now, but I'm sure we'll fix that in our later conversations," she said once she got herself in check.
"And Ace I didn't get a ride here. I walked. My brother had to go to his job so he escorted me here before going to work. But it's okay I can walk home like I did last night." She wondered how mad he would be at her admittance, but it was better to face anger than hurt at a lie.

Ace jumped up along with Angel, as he noticed she was getting up. “You didn’t know? Yeah, I didn’t tell you, nor did you ask….So it’s all good.” he said, smiling cunningly. Looking around, as he listened to Angel’s comments, he noticed that everything had fell silent. Everyone had a time to sleep, he said to himself, as he turned his attention back to Angel. “You walked here. No problem. I’ll drop you off home on my motorcycle. I don’t have a spare helmet, but there’s barely traffic here, so we can both ditch the helmets.” He paused slightly, to take a breathe. Taking his breath, he continued, “As for your brother, tell me where he works and call him and tell him I’m going to pick him up, okay? I’ll be mad at you if you don’t, okay?” Ace searched his pockets for the key. Finally, he found them, they were wedged deeply into his pocket, and pulled it out. It was attached to a key chain that simply had the letter “A”. Pointing to it, he said, “It stands for angel.” (its a short post. sorry )

[whisper=Ace McCloud]It's okay[/whisper]
Angelline smiled at Ace's offer. "That sounds like fun, thanks for the offer." She felt a surge of adrenaline rush through her. She had never been on a motorcycle before, but her friend back home used to own one. She had always wanted to go riding with her, but unfortunately her friend had crashed it before she ever got the chance to. However her excitment was shortlived as she heard his proposal to call her brother.
Looking at him like she was insane she shook her head and crossed her arms in front of her to form an X. "No way. And besides he's already home. Thankfully his shifts aren't that long." She let out an inward sigh of relief at that fact and looked curiously at him as he searched through his pockets. Peering closely at the key with the initial key chain Angelline looked up at him with a puzzled look on her face. "What is this a key to exactly?" she asked completely oblivious to its significance.

“It’s very fun. We’ll go slowly. Slower is always better,” Ace said, with a wink, hoping she would get the hidden message that all he wanted was to spend more time with her. She looked very excited, as if she had never been on a motorcycle before, so Ace decided to push a few buttons. “It’s only a one seater, so you’re gonna have to…sit on my lap.” Ace winked, hoping she would realize it was only a joke, and wouldn’t go off the handle. She never did go off the handle, but he didn’t want to risk it. Or worse, she might decline his request to drop her off at home. No more pushing buttons for today, he decided.
As she formed the X with her hands, he walked closer to her, only inches away from her face. “Why do you fear your brother so much? I mean, sure, he sounds like a good guy, but instead of fearing him…,” A thought suddenly came to him, “He doesn’t know about me?!” Ace exclaimed, almost seeming as if he was about to kill her. With a key. A key to a motorcycle to be exact. Lowering his voice, he added, “It’s the eye to the motorcycle,” Adding, even softer, “genius.”

Angelline knew his comment was a lie, after all she didn't have crazy friends for nothing. They told her all about their cars and motorcycles...but then again she tuned them out after awhile. It gets annoying after the hundreth time listening to it, she thought with a small chuckle. "Nice try Ace. I wouldn't want to screw up your driving skills though now would I," she said with a wink of her own. "Besides I had a friend who owned a motorcycle so I know a few things about one...not much, but some."
As he asked her why she feared her brother she was amazed he hadn't realized that she hadn't told her family about him yet...but like her excitment it was shortlived. “He doesn’t know about me?!”
Wincing at his volume and angry tone Angelline put her hands up to cover her face. Peeking through the gaps in between her fingers she grinned and nodded her head. "Well...see. I'll tell them tonight. But if I don't come to school in one piece you'll know why," she said, taking her hands off her face. "You're seriously giving me a key to a motorcycle?! Why?" she asked looking into his eyes. "Here you go telling me you don't want me to get hurt. I'm probably going to get more hurt from the motorcycle than if I crashed into the tree," she said with a smile.

“Trust me, you wouldn’t. After all, who has ever had a angel on the backseat of their motorcycle before?,” Ace simply said. He was joking, but being serious in his own weird way.
Ace lowered his head, “I was hoping they would know about me. But I guess not. It’s okay though.” He raised his head, and looked at her. There was no way he could ever be mad at those golden eyes. She would have to tell her parents one day, he decided, when it was safe. He decided to let it not get to him.
“Don’t worry, you have a great teacher, and trust me, I wouldn’t mind sitting behind you. If you’re worried, I’ll let you wear the helmet, okay?” He got closer, as he always did, so he could whisper, as if it was for her ears only, which it was, “I’m with you…so don’t be afraid, Angelline.” He wondered why he said her name, and not Angel, but he figured it was just that he was sleepy. And sad.

Angelline smiled and shook her head good naturedly at Ace. "I swear sometimes your comments astound me at how sentimental they are, but that's part of who you are. And that's a part I love."
Seeing his lowered head make her feel incredibly guilty, his words only made her feel worse. For some reason Angelline felt like she had robbed him of something, and it hurt her.
Argh! Why am I such an inconsiderate jerk?! Because you are. Who are you? Your concious. Now apologize. Be quiet and get out of my head!
Shaking her head she wondered if she was going crazy, it's not everyone day you find yourself talking with yourself. Sighing Angelline looked up at Ace, a serious look in her eyes. "I'm sorry Ace. It's just...truthfully I've never been in a situation like this and...well honestly I have no idea what to do, but I'll learn. It's just going to take some time," she whispered with a small smile on her face.
As he whispered to her she shivered slightly and nodded, it was the only thing she could think to do. "I trust you Ace. I really truly trust you," she said. Grabbing his hand she started to tug on it. Angelline could tell he was a bit sleepy and she didn't want him to fall asleep when he was driving home. "Well come on then. Can't have you sleeping on me now can I?"

Ace could do nothing but smile at her comments. The only reason he smiled was because he had nothing to say, as was his nature when he was around Angel. He didn’t care though, as long as he was with her, and that’s all that mattered. Looking at his watch, he noticed it was nearing 9, which meant Angel needed to get home, before her parents called the police and did a nation wide search. “Angel, let’s go. It’s getting late,” And as low as a whisper, he added, “I still want to meet your parents.” Hoping she didn’t hear it, he began to walk forward. As little as 10 feet away from her, he stopped, and turned his head slightly, “you coming?”. That was all he said, before he started to walk again, slower than before.

Angelline saw him smile and wondered what she had said that could make him smile. It wasn't like she had said anything bad...or had she? Seeing him walk off without her as she was thinking it was now her turn to smile. Shaking her head, an action she found herself doing a lot lately, Angelline ran to catch up with him. "I'm coming, I'm coming. Don't be so impatient," she shouted after him.
