full name;; delaney arianna kane
nickname;; laney, arri
gender;; female
age;; 18
appearance;;
history;; Ever since she started breathing, Delaney was aware to what kind of the world she came into. Luckily, she always had someone by her side to help her with every single problem she had and every phase she was going trough. That someone was usually her sister, or in critical moments, one of her older (and not so much smarter) brothers.
She grew up in their old family house out in the country with all her siblings. Since their parents were away most of the time, they were constantly surrounded with babysitters. Of course, the grandma was present as well, things like these never worked out without the grandma. Those years she spent there were probably the best years of her life. She was enjoying in every minute of it, even though her parents believed that she was having the worst time ever. You see, Laney was always fine liar, she was able to make anyone believe anything and that was exactly what she did with her parents. No one could blame her though, she was just a kid seeking attention. However, she soon realized that attention was too much to ask for. So she stopped trying.
Not too long after her tenth birthday, her parents split. Without offering explanation to their children. She and her siblings were sent to different boarding schools but they remained in contact. Of course, the parents knew nothing about that, and even if they knew it was doubtful that they cared.
Laney managed to fit in and move up high in the hierarchy. For that she had to work hard, but in the end she succeeded. She was feeling like she was on top of the world. That was until her twin was kidnapped. That almost killed her completely. She lost her best companion and it felt like part of her was missing. People say that time can heal any wound. Well, she came to conclusion that it can't. it can only make you feel somewhat better. Her sister is still listed as missing person and she still feels like part of her is missing but she managed to stay alive. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger - right?
family;; Delaney has two older brothers and twin sister. Parents are still alive and breathing. They are all rather posh and just a bit, or well, bit more ignorant. As well, she has one little half sister, her father's and his new wife's daughter.

The wind was blowing and the windows were shaking. It was a perfect scene for horror movie. Except, well, sun was still up there on the sky shining with all it's might. Delaney looked around the dorm and almost burst out laughing. The girls were having one of the famous pillow fights. They tried to pull her in, even provoke her, but it didn't work. She did love pillow fights, but she really didn't want to join in, not today. Though, she had to admit that it was quite amusing to just sit there and watch them.
After the last unsuccessful attempt to make her join, Delaney realized that it was the time to get out of there. It was one of those run-for-your-life situations. They already started knocking things over, they even broke a vase which was standing there for unknown reasons. She grabbed a jacket, jumped over one pillow and then ducked to avoid the other one. However, she didn't pass unharmed. Just as she grabbed the handle one pillow flied over and hit her on the back. Ah well, there was no serious damage so she managed to get out after proclaiming that she would get her revenge.
She knew where she wanted to go. After the scene in the dorm, she needed some peace. The lake seemed like a perfect place to get it. She was almost sure that no one would be there on such a windy day. She almost ran all the way to it. It was great to run against the wind and feel it against her skin. True, she didn't like coldness but for now she was able to stand it.
She stopped under the first tree and sat down immediately picking up a small rock. She threw it in the lake, stirring it's surface even more. She wasn't able to see the giant squid. Maybe it hid from the wind as well. She shrugged. Yes, she was all alone, just like she predicted.

Tonight was the night. Something special was about to happen. It seemed that even creatures of the forest sensed that. Everything was unusually quiet, it felt like even the forest itself waited for the moment to come. Blood was going to be spilled tonight.
The night was still young, there was nothing what would stop her now. Maybe she didn't have the authority to be here right now but she strongly believed that there was no one who would be brave enough to face her in the darkness on the forbidden forest. The moon wasn't full, that was true, but that didn't mean that young wanderers were safe around here. The smell of danger was in the air and the creatures were hiding in the shadows.
Only one shadow was moving trough the darkness. It was soft and swift and almost invisible to a pair of human eyes. No, it wasn't a shadow of some dumb, random student who was heading to his or her death, this shadow knew what it was doing. It was moving slowly, carefully almost as it was trying to hide it's invisible trails. It was heading straight toward the heart of the forest.
Shadows were never only shadows, each and every one of them had it's name, unique and melodic. This shadow wasn't much different then the others. All the shadows, or most of them, were hunters, so was this one. It's name was Caella Antares.
Very few people on the face of the earth would recognize her in the dark creature who was now lurking trough the forest. Caella just wasn't the person who would walk out in the middle of the night just to stroll trough the forest. The old Caella wouldn't, she would probably just stay inside some old castle and keep looking for the secret passages and hidden rooms. The old Caella belonged to the old forgotten times.
Slowly and thoroughly she scanned the space in front of her. She didn't see a thing which would keep her attention for more then few seconds. This wasn't the first time she was forced to wait. Her pray was on it's way, she could smell it's scent in the air, it was approaching.
This character has been accepted. Have fun RPing.
