September wasn't really sure what she was doing. She was just walking through a meadow full of flowers. She would have thought she was dreaming if she didn't know better. She was a dreamer. There was nowhere for her dreams to go to. She sighed softly, cthinking about things. She had been thinking an awful lot lately mostly about what The Nothing was doing and the neutral parties as well. She knew they could cross the border freely, but she still wondered what they did on the other side. Part of her hoped theey were trrying to figure out a way to weaken the nothing, but the other part just hoped they stayed far away from him.
She sighed again and took a moment to observe the sky. It was nearing dawn as she could tell by the setting moon. Soon she would leave this world to take part in the next. She didn't mind her disappearance so much. It had been a quiet night. Nothing had tried to attack and no one had crossed the border.

Glandforth searched for the presence of the one he had been looking for. He smirked, as he found it. He made his way over there, and in a short while, arrived at the place where he had to go. Looking around, he saw September looking up at the sky. Perfect chance for him to make a move. He walked, slowly and quietly, up to her, and placed a hand on her shoulder. “Just wanted to apologize, and beautiful night, isn’t it? I’ve always dreamt of nights like this before, but sadly, they never came true.”
He looked around, and noticed that no one was there, and due to the setting moon, he would have to work fast. Becoming friends was a good first move, he could work on everything else later. Might as well gain her trust before he kills her….or well, try to kill her. He could always be dreamt of again, but if he defeated her, then that would make him stronger than her, and the Sandmen, which meant he could kill her over and over and over. He waited on her move, almost as if he was playing chess. Checkmate.

As soon as September heard footsteps behind her, she had loosened her sword in it's sheath to make it easier to pull out. She kept one hand near the hilt just in case. When she felt a hand on her shoulder she drew the blade lightening fast and spun around. It was just that silly, annoying kid though, so she lowered her weapon slightly and just looked at him in annoyance. He said he wanted to apologize. Did she dare believe him? No, not really, but if he wanted to apologize, she would let him. "Well, goo ahead. I'm listening." She crossed her arms inn front of her chest.

Glandforth smiled, as he saw that September was actually looking very annoyed at him. He loved challenges, and this was a big one. She probably didn’t know his ulterior motive for apologizing, let alone, talking to her. He saw that she crossed her arms in front of her chest. “I was hoping the leader of the Sandmen had a little mercy.” He chuckled slightly, then looked at her seriously. “You probably don’t like me, nor trust me. But, I just wanted to apologize, after all, you were the one in the right.” Lowering his voice, he added, “And I was wrong.” That wasn’t entirely true, but whatever it took to get his mission done.

September gave Glandforth a look. "You call that an apology?" She asked him in a rather cold sounding voice. "You didn't even say you were sorry. You just said I was right. Tell me something I don't know." She gave him a small smirk. "How am I supposed to believe you're sorry when you didn't even say you were?" She fingered her the hilt of her sword in a subtle fashion. She wasn't sure she could trust this being, and in the event that she couldn't, she wanted to be able o draw her sword quickly.

Glandforth chuckled. He sighed, before saying anything. “You’re right, I didn’t say sorry. So I’ll say it now.” he kneeled down on one leg, and it took a lot of heart to say this. He didn’t want to do this, but he had to. “Miss September, leader of the Sandmen, I am sorry.” he drew his sword, and embedded it into the ground, point first. “On my sword,” He whispered softly, “Pysche.” He added that last part in so lightly that no one, not even the ants under him could hear it.

September rolled her eyes when Glandforth put his sword into the ground point down. She considered for a moment not accepting his apology, but it was against her angelic manner. She sighed softly and spread her wings wide. "Very well, I accept your apology. Now do you need anything else or may I go and continue my walk?" She raised an eyebrow while she looked at him.

Glandforth smiled. This was the perfect opportunity. Pushing himself up, he retrieved his sword, and got side by side with her. “May I join? I always wondered what heaven felt like?” He put on a cute smile, if he’d say so himself. “I mean, if you don’t mind?” He was always a ladies man, either him or ace. “I needed someone to talk to, and I sort of bumped into you here, and well, it was hard bending my ego to apologize to anyone, but heck, I did it.”

September scowled at Glandforth. Of course she minded. She had come out here to be alone and to think, not listen to some annoying little twit talk. "Well, you'd better go find someone else to listen then because I'm busy listening to my own thoughts, and you didn't bump into me. You sought me out so you could apologize." She glared at him again, shifting her wings in an annoyed manner. "And if you had to lower your ego just to apologize, I really don't think you should be talking to an angel." At these words, she spread her wings almost hitting Glandforth with one, and with one powerful beat, she was in the air.

Glandforth was ruining it. Up flew September as Tri-Edge watched from a far away clliff. He would have to take matters into his own hands. Tri-Edge drew his sword, and in a speed that is past human capabilities, flew at September, with the intent to attack. He just hoped Glandforth would realize in time.
"Time to die, September!" Tri-Edge yelled, to get Glandforth's attention.

Glandforth looked at September in surprise. The leader really was heartless. Too heartless for her own good. She was in the air, and just then, so was Tri-Edge. He was headed straight for her. Glandforth smiled. Pushing himself into position, he prepared to leap. Letting the momentum build up, he let the pressure go, and in a split second, he was in front of tri-edge with his sword drawn. He struck it towards Tri-edge, stopping at his chest. “Now leave,” Glandforth whispered. On second thought, he should take a beating. “No, hit me. Hard!” He whispered, with force.

[whisper=Ken Maxwell, Ace McCloud]And what happened to not killing me, I wonder...[/whisper]
September whirled around in mid-air at the voice of a new being. "Hmm, really because I think you're the one that's about to killed." Of course then Glandforth and his big fat ego had to try to save her. Why were people constantly doing that? It got on her nerves. She was a Sandman, not a porclien doll. Then she noticed something strange. Glandforth seemed to be whispering to the being. That must mean tey were working together. She smiled to herself. What a rookie mistake, especially to make right in front of her. "I'd hate to break up a party between friends...Wait, no, I don't." She formed a ball of air in her hands and threw it at the dou. The ball would act like a bomb against whatever it touched.

[whisper=Ace McCloud] Okay man, you're getting kicked down here. Face it.[/whisper] "Sh!t," were the only words that came from Tri-Edge mouth. They'd been figured out. Perhaps the Nothing was right, perhaps they were a little too obvious. That didn't matter. Had to save Glandforth. If anyone was to feel pain, it would be Tri-Edge. With a flap of his wings, he'd round house kicked Glanforth to the side, and without the ability to fly, he wouldn't be coming back. The ball of air came closer. "You... I like you." Tri-Edge said to September, Just as the ball of air connected with Tri-Edge, exploding... [whisper=Ariella Warren] That ball won't KILL me, will it? I sure hope not.[/whisper]

[whisper=Ken Maxwell]Nah, it won't kll you.[/whisper]
September watched, amused, while the one being kicked Glandforth out of harm's way. If she had had any doubt that they were part of the same team, it was now gone. She continued to watch while the air ball flew closer to the being. Just before it hit him, he said he liked her. Well, she couldn't blame him. Most everyone did like her. Then the ball exploded aagainst him causing him to be blown away. She looked at the retreating figure still smirking. "That's what you get for going after the Leader of the Sandmen." She pulled her sword out just in case the being came back.
