Ace noticed, out of the corner of his eye like before, she had unclenched her fist. Maybe she caught him looking, but it couldn’t have been that obvious. He didn’t care too much about it thought, as she looked down at her shoes. James, who’s James? “James being your brother, right?” He didn’t really care who James was, but it was always better if he knew who that was, just in case she needed help or something.

She nodded, still staring down at her shoes. The toe of her right shoe began to draw circles in the dirt. She kept looking down for a while before daring to look at him again. "Why are you here?" she asked, trying to be polite and contribute to the conversation. It had been so long since she had talked to another human other than her brother. She wasn't used to it.

“Me? I’m always here. It gives me time to think, this park,” He said, waving his hands around, “ It’s a special place.” It was true. Each time he came here, something special always happened to him. “What about you?” He asked, tilting the conversation over.

"To think," she murmured. It was a half-lie. She came here to think and get away from people. Obviously it didn't work very well. Anna was starting to get a little more comfortable but not much. She looked away from him after glancing at his face. A breeze tugged at her red hair and she smiled ever so slightly.

Ace smiled. Everyone loved to think, especially in a place like this. “That sounds wonderful.” He said, letting his voice become one with the wind. He looked over the park, as he saw that more and more people were heading home, and noticed that she turned her head, maybe after looking at him. Hopefully she didn’t like him too. He was getting tired of that, but this girl seemed slightly different from the rest, but sadly, she too was a girl.

[whisper=Ace McCloud] If he turned gay he wouldn't have to worry about that anymore. =-P [/whisper]
Anna looked up a little and saw couples and families leaving the park. She glanced up at the sky and saw that it had become completely dark now. "I should probably get going," she muttered as she stood up. "James might be worrying." It was rare that she stayed out this late. Anna started to comb her fingers through her hair out of habit but caught herself and let her hand drop.

Ace sighed a bit, and stretched. He stood up, his legs were asleep. “Yeah, I’ll drop you off.” He looked around. “Just staying on the safe side, of course.” Hopefully she wouldn’t get the wrong idea. A guy dropping a girl off at home usually gave off the wrong vibes, and that wasn’t what he wanted. He considered turning gay, but that would create even more problems, and he wouldn’t be able to keep food down. [/color]

Anna shook her head and shoved her hands in her pockets. "No, I'm good," she said, staring at the ground intently. She was back to her shy anti-social self. "I don't live far." Anna usually walked to places. She had a car but everything was pretty close and she didn't need to spend a fortune on gas just to walk a couple blocks.
