Ariella settled herself back on the bench next to Ken, feeling her cheeks slightly flushed from all the laughing and squirming she had been doing. "Yeah, I'm warmer now. Thank you." She turned her head back up to the beautful sky, looking at the stars and trying to remember their constellations. She found the Big Diper and the Little Dipper fairly easy. Suddenly, she saw a shooting star. "Look!" She shouted loudly to Ken. "It's a shooting star. Make a wish." She closed her eyes and wished that something amazing would happen, something good. She kept her eyes closed.

Ken felt good. He knew he'd made a good move in going for the tickle there. He was brought out of his la la mood by Ariella pointing to a shooting star, and telling him to wish. Ken looked up just in time to see it. His wish had already come true, before the star had even came. Now it was just a matter of his own will making it all complete. He looked to Ariella, and chuckled lightly. Her eyes were closed. Ken needed something to say, but not something too cliche. He never liked those sappy lines. Waaait, Ken thought to himself, if I can't think of something to say... I'll DO something.. Ken leaned in in front of Ariella, eyes still closed, and softly pressed his lips to hers.

Ariela gasped softly and her eyes flew open when she felt lips pressed against her own. She saw Ken's face in front of her. What was he doing kissing her? She hadn't expected this. She started to pull away, but it was like her lips had a mind of their own as she was kissing him back and none too gently. She really hadn't expected that nor did she want it. Or maybe she did? Her lips certainly seemed to know what they wanted. Should she just relax or slap the guy? She decided on the fromer and just relaxed, letting the kiss pass over her.

Ken jumped for joy inside when Ariella kissed back. He'd taken a risky move, possibly throwing his chances into the wind by going in for a kiss she hadn't asked for. But isn't that what this game is? Taking risks. Never in dreams, nor in real life did the course of true love ever run smooth, there would always be risks. Ken put his arm over Ariella and pulled her closer slowly. Take it slow, Ken.... slow he thought, trying to calm himself down. Luckily he didn't have to stand up for any presentations.

Ariella felt Ken put his arm around her and draw her closer. She wasn't exactly sure what to do at this point, but she kept kissing him. What harm could it do really? Though she was unsure what to do, her body seemed to know. Her hands moved slowly from her side to travel over Ken's chest. One hand remained on his chest directly over his heart while the other moved to his hair, running her fingers through the thick locks.

Ken felt Ariella's hand on his chest... his heart was beating so fast. He was nervous, but he didn't want to be. He felt right at home with Ariella in his arms. Ken has one hand on her back, and his other hand travelled up to her face, resting there. Her skin was smooth. A cold win blew by that made Ken wonder how much longer this could last, and if he should ask for her number so they could meet again. Or meet up in school. But he was thinking to far ahead, he had to think of the now.

Ariella felt Ken's hand on her cheek and one at her back. Was this right? Should she pull away? It was just kiss....okay, maybe it was more than a kiss, but still so far they were just kissing. Slowly, Ariella broke the kiss, but she remained in Ken's arms. "I'm not sure about this," she said softly. "I mean, we don't even know each other and yet we're kissing." She trailed a finger along his slightly wet lips, wet from the kiss they had shared. "Does it feel rright to you?" She asked him cautiously, wondering if he really liked her or just wanted to kiss her.

"Ya know, honestly... I couldn't tell you. When you told me to make a wish, I did. I wished that you would go with me to the movies tomorrow night. And when I leaned in to ask you... my body kinda... well." Ken started to smile as Ariella touched his lips. He thought for a moment whether her liked her cuz he kissed her, or he kissed her because he liked her. It wasn't long before Ken realized the truth. "You're right though... you ask if it felt right. It did. It felt like we skipped 3 months of pre-liminary dating and were straight boyfriend and girlfriend. I don't know," Ken laughed those last words. He wanted to ask her out, why couldn't he work up the courage to do it? He already kissed her, he got the hard stuff out of the way. Ken lightly grabbed her hands, and held them to his chest. "Ariella... do you wanna go to the movies tomorrow?" Ken asked, as truly from the bottom of his heart as he could. Ariella wasn't just another floosie... he really liked her. IF he liked her this much in such a small amount of time, imagine the love he'd feel in a month. Thats how he saw it, anyway.

Ariella listened to Ken's words with a small smile on her face. She understood where he was coming from. She hated all that preliminery dating stuff. That was why she didn't have a boyfriend yet. All the guys wanted to get to know hr before they claimed her as their girlfriend, which she could understand, but this was her, and she wasn't changing for anyone, so if they liked her enough to ask her on a date, then they should like her enough to ask her to be their girlfriend.
Ariella was just about to say something about this to Ken when he grabbed her hands gently and pressed them to his chest. She lost her balence and found herself pressed against Ken's chest. She giggled in a nervous manner, unsure whether or not he would think she had done it on purpose, which she hadn't. She lifted herself away slowly almost reluctantly. Ken was warm and the night was not so warm. She looked at Ken again, a soft smile on her lips. "Why don't we just skip all the starter dates and just be boyfriend and girlfriend?" She asked him softly, still smiling. "I don't really like the wgole starter date thing, and you said so yourself that it felt like we had just skipped all that. So why don't we?" She looked straight into his eyes while she said this.

Her eyes were beautiful. That was all Ken could think of at the time. Ariella's beautiful eyes. When she asked him if they could just go steady, he didn't know what to think. He was lost in her eyes. Ken smiled. "I don't even have to think about my answer." Ken rubbed his arms up and down Ariella's body, to make sure she was warm. His sweater was on the ground from the tickle fight. Ken picked it up off the ground, and dusted it off, and placed it around Ariella's shoulders. Then Ken pulled Ariella in. "I'd love to be your boyfriend."
It really was a beautiful night... nothing could ruin it.

Ariella smiled brightly when Ken said he would love to be her boyfriend. "Good, because I would love to be your girlfriend." She gave him a small smile, letting him pull her closer to him. She gave him a swift kiss before just laying her head on his chest and looking up at the sky and stars. It was a beautiful night, and she had a boyfriend. Nothing could possibly ruin it.

Ken had almost fallen asleep with Ariella in his arms. He'd forgotten about his run. He'd forgotten about his homework he needed to get done for English class due third period. All that mattered was the moment, the now. Ariella was more beautiful then ever in Ken's arms. The sun was going to rise any moment, the sky had already started to turn pink, and the sound of birds chirping filled the air. How long had they been together that night? Sitting on that bench, just holding each other? It'd been about two hours. Looking down, he saw Ariella's head resting on his chest, wrapped in his sweater. The weather had gotten a bit warmer, so he hoped she didn't catch cold. "Hey," Ken said softly, "are you awake? Would you like me to walk you home?" Ken didn't want to leave, he wanted to stay with her, but school started in about an hour and a half. He'd love to spend that time with Ariella, but his mother would have is ass if school work went in the tubes.

Ariella had fallen asleep right there on the bench in Ken's arms. She hadn't really been dreaming of anything, at least nothing she would remember later. She woke up slowly when she heard Ken's voice talking to her. It took her a moment to realize where she was and whose arms were around her, but when she did, she smiled brightly at him and the lighting sky. "How long have we been here?" She asked him in a soft voice. She then realized it must have been a while because the sky was now pink instead of dark blue. "I don't wanna go. I'm confortable." She gave him a smile. She knew they had to go, but she didn't want to.

She didn't want to go. Why would she. Ken didn't. There was lots of time. No need to dress to impress the ladies this time around, he's got all he needs. Ken spoke softly to the angel on his lap. "We were here about two hours... School starts soon. About an hour and a half. The way I see it, we have an hour and a half left," Ken said, and then chuckled lightly, but not enough to move. Ariella was tired, and he didn't want to startle her. With his free hand, Ken rubbed his fingers through her hair repeatedly.

Ariella laughed lightly at this comment. She thought they should go sooner than he proposed, but she still didn't want to. She just wanted to stay here and watch the sun come up with Ken. She thought they could probably do this if they really wanted to, and obviously they both did because neither of them were moving. Slowly, Ariella sat up and stretched. She then turned to face Ken. "A whole hour and a half," she said in mock amazement at how much time they had. "What could we possibly do with all that time?" Her face melted into one of thought. "Oh, wait. I know something we could do..." She moved forward slowly, putting her arms around Ken's neck and kissed him.
