Vergil panted as she ran around the corner. She was in the middle of a run from the Paparazzi who she had caught trying to sneak pictures of her in the trailer. She had stolen their camera and was currently on the run from them trying to recieve it.
Doing a mid-drifting slide around the corner she half regretted and half complimented herself for not changing her hair back to Rebellion Van Angelo Devourez's. That would mean that she would leave her private life open to everyone, including the people she was running away from currently. But with her pink hair it was like telling the world that the Vergil was in public.
nuts, nuts nuts! Vergil heard the gasps and screams around her as people started to join the chase. Must....run....if it takes anything! She ran into an old looking cafe with wooden doors and locked the door behind her catching her breath. That was when she noticed the people within it staring at her.

Angelline had wanted a quiet way to relax after her small trial. She could no longer stay at home to relax, the park was no good, she didn't know any other place to go she decided to wander around Senora Avenue. Walking helped to calm down her frayed nerves and she let out a sigh of relaxation. Hands in her pockets, shades on, she looked around at all of the shops in their decorations and laughed. Strange how different things seem in one day.
Her eyes were caught by a small little cafe. Wooden doors, and a bit of an antique feeling stirred her curiousity and she made her way over. Pushing the doors open she looked around at the slightly dim interior and smiled. Closing the door she made her way to the counter and ordered some hot chocolate before taking a seat at a small table in the corner where she could have some privacy.
Taking out her I-pod she put the earphones in her ears and let the soothing melody of the Phantom of the Opera calm her down. It was at that moment when the doors to the cafe were slammed shut and the audible click of a lock could be heard throughout the suddenly quiet room. Angelline turned her eyes to the front and let out a gasp of shock. There in the entrance stood a girl she knew from her past...someone who she hadn't seen in ages. Sure the hair may have been different, but she still remembered the face of her once dear friend. "Rebellion?" she whispered to herself as she stood from her seat. A tear ran from the corner of her eye and she slowly, cautiously made her way to the out of breath girl.

Vergil stood up and coughed slightly regaining composture when she heard a name she thought she would never hear from anyone but her father.
"Rebellion..." Widening her eyes, she looked around til she found the source of the voice and froze. Angelline....what is she doing here! ...more importantly, if she tells who I am then my private life is over! As she was about to open her mouth, two girls came up squealing.
"Oh, my god! Are you Vergil? The Vergil?"
"Of course she's the Vergil you idiot! Who wouldn't be able to tell with that beautiful face and the breathtaking eyes and hair color! Can I have your autograph?"
"I...uh....sure thing." The girls screamed in delight as they took out pens and autograph sheets. Glancing at Angelline, Vergil tried to contain herself, Rebellion, as she smiled at her fans and signed their sheets. "aaand, there you go." She waved at the fans as they ran over to their table excitedly chattering at eachother.

Angelline's steps faltered a bit as Rebellion turned her head towards her. She saw the widened eyes and the way she had frozen...almost in fear. Her heart clenched a bit at that almost trapped look in her eyes. What...happened...was it something I said? she thought, but she shook her head. "No...no!" she whispered fiercely to herself.
At that moment two girls started screaming and harassing Rebellion. She was about to tell them to back off when she heard them shouting another name. Vergil? Why is she using another name? Confused by everything Angelline made her way over until she was standing off to the side of her once friend. After she had run away, they hadn't spoken, she hadn't heard anything from her.
After the girls left Angelline tapped Rebellion on the shoulder. "So...what's up?" she asked. It seemed lame, but at the moment that's all she could really get out. There was a mixture of fear, joy, anger, and a whole assortment of other things, but those emotions stood out the most.

Rebellion waved at them smiling faintly as they returned to their table and was about to walk out of the cafe seeing that there were no more Paparazzi coming for her when she heard a voice behind her that made her blood boil. Why wont she leave me alone! She thought angrily as she took a deep breath and turned around. "I dont know who you are talking about...I dont think anyone of that name would look like me." She smilled in vain as she whipped her hair back. "Surely this Rebellion you speak of is a different person." Vergil spoke as she opened the door and came face to face with the man who was smiling and holding a camera. Shutting the door in his face and locking it again, Vergil sighed in defeat and turned to the girl who spoke to her and whispered in her ear.
"My name is Vergil! You know, the movie star? I really want to live a private and personal life, so if you please stop calling me Rebellion!..."
"Is something the matter Miss Vergil?" Vergil turned around to the shops manager looking at her worriedly and dreamily. "Are you having problems?"
"Well, er, I just came to have coffee without Paparazzi following me..I heard that this place gives exceptionally good coffee and wanted to come but you know media..." She laughed as she pointed towards outside and the manager nodded in sympathy.
"If that's your problem, we have a reservational second floor. Would you like to drink our coffee there?"
"You'd do that for me?" Vergil smiled as the manager blinked a few times before nodding his head hurriedly.
"B-But of course! You are the Vergil! ...may I have an autograph later?"
"Sure thing." Vergil smiled as she grabbed Angelline's hand and pulled her to the second floor.

Angelline recoiled from the cold and hostile nature that the girl gave her. She knew it was Rebellion, the girl her family had adopted, but she didn’t know why she was being treated this way. At the girl’s flippant comments and actions she clenched her fists irritation seething through her body. It was rare to get Angelline truly angry, but she was easily irritable, but this girl was sorely testing her. “Change your appearance all you want, you’ll still be the same person in my eyes,” Angelline whispered so only she could hear. “Run, act cold, but I’ll be on your case until you explain what is going on.” Seeing the camera man she felt a jolt of sympathy for Rebellion. It must be hard…a life like that is not one I’d want.
As a person, the manager she supposed, came over to talk with Rebellion she shut down in her thoughts not wanting the emotions to overcome her. Angelline knew she had more control then this…but maybe it was all a farce? Shaking her head fiercely she made her way back over to her table to grab her stuff and leave when she felt a hand grab one of her own and pull her away.
“Hey! What in the world?!” she asked, turning her head to face Rebellion…no Vergil. Fighting a little she tried to break free, but it was no use. The girl was as strong as ever. “Mind letting me go?” She turned her head just in time to see the ground floor disappear, obscured by a corner. Sighing she gave up her useless struggling and willingly got towed away. But that didn’t mean she wasn’t still seething inside her mind.

Vergil watched Angelline seethe at her but she ignored her as she closed the door behind both of them and sighed, going over to the window and closing it, making no one from outside see anything inside. "...that was close." Vergil sighed as she turned over to Angelline. "Look, all would have been well if you didnt say my name. Now I'm going to be pestered. Who's Rebellion? They're going to track the name down, and note that Rebellion isnt a common name! Pretty soon they'll find Rebellion Van Angelo Devourez and track her and discover that she's VERGIL!" She sighed as she slumped into a chair. "There goes my private and personal life free from Paparazzi and media...." Glancing at Angelline, Vergil closed her mouth. There was a moment of silence before she opened it again.
"Act cold? I NEED to act cold or they'll grab something and wont let go!"

Angelline looked at the closed door and sighed. "The only person who heard me say your name was you. I'm sorry if I hurt you. But really I'll just leave now. I see what I did wrong now. I'm really sorry," she said. The words swam in her mind and she was silently beating herself up over them. Stupid, stupid, stupid! How did things come to this?! she shouted at herself inside her mind.
"And as for your need to act cold I wish you didn't need it. There are ways to be kind and not get eaten alive. You'll probably yell at me for saying that, but that's what I think. I wouldn't be myself if I didn't speak what was on my mind."

"..........whatever. It was bound to be discovered anyways." Vergil sighed as she brought a hand to her hair. Hearing a small clip, the pink locks fell to the ground and Vergil held her wig, while undo-ing her black tied up hair. "I can find a way out of this mess, I always tend to be lucky in that." Rebellion shook her hair out as she looked at Angelline and gave a small smile. "It's been a while, Angelline."

Angelline heard Rebellion sigh and a sound almost like a whisper against the floor. Curious, she turned around to discover that what she previously thought was her real hair turned out to be nothing more than a wig. The black locks that she used to know were reaveled and she couldn't help but chuckle. "Luck has nothing to do with it. You're just very resourceful."
Moving away from the door she pulled up a seat and set it in front of her. Crossing her legs Angelline sighed, releasing a bit of the tension that had been locked up inside of her body. "Yes...ten years since you left...ten long years," she whispered, looking at the ground. Raising her head she smiled at Rebellion. "However you've changed much more than I have, so tell me what's been going on in your life? What's up with your surname Vergil?"

"You dont know Vergil?" Rebellion gave a half-smile as she laughed. "Then I have a lot of advertising to do in this town...Vergil is my showbiz name...the name of a movie actor that I am. I changed my name and appearance so that I can still have a safe and personal, private life away from all forms of bad media and publicity. You know celebs...even if they're really not that known here...they still get no privacy. I just moved here recently, to film a movie and it looks as if I'm going to be staying in this town for a while."

Angelline's jaw was hanging open in shock at Rebellion's story. She hadn't known that this was what she had been up to for the last ten years, and to say she was blown away by the story was only the tip of the iceburg. "Geez Rebellion. You sure keep yourself busy," she mumbled, trying to stifle a laugh of her own.

Rebellion smiled back a little. "Well...everything led to everything..and I guess it was my destiny. That something was waiting for me, something else.." She looked at Angelline and continued. "I'm not saying that the love your family gave to me wasn't enough..I....felt like something didnt belong there."

Angelline gasped at the ending of Rebellion's commentary. Sitting up straight she leaned forward in her chair looking Rebellion straight in the eyes. They remind me of Daren's...or is it the other way around? she thought. "So that's why you left," she whispered a little breathless. "I wish you had left a message Rebellion. Dad and mom really loved you like a second daughter...Damien thought of you as a great companion...and I thought of you as a second sister. When you left we spent weeks looking for you...we thought you had died," she whispered. Her eyes brightened and she thought to say she would tell her family and stopped as part of what Rebellion had said earlier rang through her mind. I changed my name and appearance so that I can still have a safe and personal, private life...
If I tell my family...she won't have a private life anymore...

"I know...just that everything happened so quickly.." Rebellion looked at Angelline and smiled faintly. "I'm sorry...you know what? I want to apologize to your parents as well." She added quickly to reassure Angelline. "The world knows Vergil, but they dont know Rebellion as much, just as the daughter of the film director Christopher Wright. I'm sure they think nothing of a normal girl and besides..they would be looking for Vergil while we visit your parents, this whole drama might come to some usage."
