Ken was walking around Senora Ave. with Zac. It was always busy, but today seemed a little different. Maybe it was the fact that it was cold. Ken had only come here when it was hotter for some Sprite. What a thirst quencher Sprite is. Screw the fact it's cold, I'm going to go for a Sprite. Ken thought to himself. The trick was getting Zac to go too. It would be tough. "Hey look, Zac, a hottie in that direction where there also happens to be delicious carbonated beverages! We should go!"
Yeah... tough.

Zac grabbed Ken’s shoulder as he heard those words. “Holy fudders and boiled broccoli, batman! She’s right there, at 9 o’ clock. Let’s make a move. As in you stay here, and I’ll go talk.” He lifted his hand, and made his way over to the girl. He neared the table, not knowing if ken followed or not, and noticed that girl was possibly older than him. Maybe not, but who cares? “Hey there, beautiful. What’s a girl like you doing out here on a day like this?” He asked, as polite as possible. He had seen this girl somewhere around school before, but where?
He looked back, and thought, “Hurry the heck up, ken.”

Zac was over there in a flash. Of course he was. He's Zac, girls are his weakness. Now Ken, he had been lifted from that weakness by his girlfriend. The thought of even pursuing this new girl didn't cross his mind, unless she was Ariella's friend. It's always good to be friends with your girlfriend's friends. And if she wasn't... Then Ken would be backup support. "Yeah you know I'm batman, Zac," Ken said out loud to himself, "You were always the flunky." Ken sifted through the crowd to Zac and the girl. She was pretty...Ariella was prettier. Ken sat down at the table, pulling a chair from another table. "Hello. My name is Kenneth, call me Ken. This is my flunky, Zac. I have a girlfriend. He doesn't. He thinks you're pretty." Ken smiled, "and go."
Hopefully that gave Zac the chance to be a man and step up.

Zac noticed as Ken came up and took the chair from a surrounding table. The guy who was about to sit in the chair as Ken took it, fell to the ground, knocking over a few tables, and disturbing quite a few people. Turning his attention back to Ken, and the girl, he smiled. “Don’t mind him, he’s watched too many movies for one day.” Turning back over to ken, he added, “I’m going to tell mom not to give you any more stickers if you keep acting this way, okay lil Kenneth?” He turned back over to the girl once again, and added, “And yes, I do think you’re pretty.” Lowering his voice, he added, “He doesn’t have a girlfriend. He’s gay” Hopefully the girl wasn’t weirded out by the duo.

Ouch. Sassy... rude too. Didn't even bother to mention her name. Why does ever girl seem to think that a man's intention is to get with them right off the bat? How bad is society that someone cannot compliment another without there being an alternative motive. Ken was pretty pissed. "You know," he started, polietly, "I seem to think you don't want us here, which is understandable. But is your opinion of people so low that you won't even give nice guys the time of day? If you want to be alone, we respect that. But could you at least give my man here a chance? Or maybe, your number if you want to be alone, so he can call you at a time when your not feeling this way?" Ken felt like he was playing this game as Zac. Had to give him a chance...
"You know what? I dont think she's worth the time of day. Let's just leave." [whisper=Zac Scott] Yo, here's what you do. You DEFEND her, say like 'lets NOT leave." Then compliment her. Good cop bad cop, you know?[/whisper]

Zac listened to ken with both ears. He had a point. Especially the number part. He noticed that Ken had said something about leaving. “No, let’s not leave. She’s worth it,” Zac said, firmly. He took a seat opposite the girl they had just approached. He looked over at Ken, “She’s totally worth it.” He was sure of it. He wanted a chance, just one chance. He said, softly, “Hey, could you at least give us one chance? And by us, I mean me. Please.”

[/i]. Yes, she heard everything he said before that as well but all previous words had zero importance comparing to this one. Her heart sunk as the other guy sad down as well and declared they are not leaving. She leaned back in her seat and looked at them both. She still didn't get it. She finally forced herself to make a sound. It was quite evident that these two were here to stay. "And you are what? His advocate?" she asked the first one calmly without a hint of sarcasm in her voice. This one sided conversation was tiring "He can speak, I heard him." with that she turned to the other one and spoke up again "You know, I'm not in some other room. I'm right here and I can hear you. If you two need some time alone to discuss certain things, there are plenty unoccupied tables and chairs around here." she paused for a moment "Chance? What are you talking about?"[/ul][/size]

No. No it wasn't worth it. What the hell was Zac talking about. "You know, I could be at home, or with Ariella right now, laughing and enjoying the day." Kenw as furious, and that was rare. She wouldn't even give them her name, now that was the true definition of a b!tch in Ken's eyes.
"Seriously, what is it about guys approaching you that makes you give off this 'piss off' vibe? We're now rapists, we're not trying to kill you. We're trying to woo you. What kind of a world is it..." Ken went on rambling in his own little world.

Zac bit his bottom lip as he heard Ken was losing. And he was pissed. He had never seen that before, except for a few rare times back in kindergarten when Ken got his cookie stolen and the older kids had made him eat dirt. Literally. It was a sad day, thankfully Zac had knocked the bullies out, and in turn, made them eat the dirt before any more damage was caused to poor ole Ken. This time, he wasn’t eating dirt, nor had someone stolen his cookie, this time, it was personal.
Zac had to speak up. “Yeah, we’re just trying to be friends. We don’t want you for sexual reasons. Can’t we atleast be friends?” Zac had stood up, and knocked over his chair in the process. It felt like his cookie was being stolen, and he couldn’t allow that. Looking over at ken, he said, louder than he should have, "I bet ariella has a golden heart. Not like this girl here." He practically spat out the words "This girl here."

"Better moment?" Ken was done. He was angry, yet joking at the same time. Some people. "What better time then the present? Who's to say next time you meet, you won't be even more upset. Whatever, Zac... you chill, you stay. I'm going to have a ham sangwich." Ken walked over to the bar, he didn't want to sit down and ruin the opportunity Zac had.

Zac watched as Ken walked away to get a ham SANGWICH. Zac turned around, and faced the girl they had approached. Lowering his head, and speaking in a low tone, “You know, he has a point. We were only trying to be friends, and we,” He paused, “WE’RE NOT TREATING YOU LIKE A d**n OBJECT! WHY DO YOU GIRLS ALWAYS GET THE IMPRESSION WE’RE TRYING TO LAY YOU?!” Zac had stood up, and was obviously shouting at this point. “WHY?!,” Taking a deep breath, he lowered his voice, “You know what, I’m sorry.” He turned around, and took another deep breath. “Have a nice life.” Zac was beyond caring at this point. The girl was too stuck up for his tastes, and trust me, he had good tastes, though it seemed they malfunctioned in her case. One other thing, he was completely oblivious to the fact that everyone was looking at them, practically anticipating that next move
