Ariella sat once more in the blue bean bag chair in the drama club's props room. She thought it was as good a place to meet Ace as any. It was the first place they had kissed, and it would be the last. Not that she expected or wanted any kissing to go on, but you never knew. She had written Ace a note to meet her here at this time. She didn't think it would take long to talk about what they had to talk about, but she hoped she didn't want to take any chances. She just didn't want anything else to go wrong than absolutely had to.
Slowly, Ariella looked around, smiling to herself. Maybe she should show Ken this place?

Ace tucked the note he had found in his locker that told him to meet Ariella at this time and place, into his pocket.. He had to tell her he was leaving, and well, he didn’t want to, but he had to. But why did she want to meet him? Perhaps, another makeout session? Ace didn’t try to stress himself, so he just went up to the door and attempted to open it. Smiling to himself, he brought out a hair pin, and fiddled with the lock. Success, the door popped open. He walked in, and closed the door quietly behind him. Looking around, he spotted Ariella on the same bean bag that he had first made out with her on. He would miss this place, not because it was a place to skip, but because it brought back some pleasant memories. And besides, he only skipped twice. Last time, and this time.
He looked around for the kitchen chair, and saw it, in the corner. He went over there and retrieved it, putting it in front of Ariella’s bean bag. “Hey there.” He simply said.

Ariella heard someone outside, fiddling with the lock. She assumed it was Ace, nd her assumpitions were proven correct when she saw his face in the door. She didn't say anything to him, but let him get his chair and sit in it. When he was all settled, and rather closer than she wanted, he said hi. She gave him a small smile. "Hey back." She took a deep breath, not wanting to hurt him, but she knew she had to say it. "Look, Ace..." Her voice trailed off. How was she supposed to tell him? It wasn't like there was a manual on this sort of thing.

He noticed that she didn’t say anything the whole time he had gotten himself settled in, so it was definitely not a make out session. She had tried to talk, but she stopped after saying about two words. He put a hand on her shoulder. “Hey, I’m all ears, don’t worry. I don’t have long, so please…hurry.” It was true, he didn’t have long. He was going to leave town pretty soon, and wanted to get everything settled up before he left. So what did she want to tell him? He was sure he wasn’t going to get mad.

Ariela grasped her hands tightly together holding them on her knees. "I haave a boyfriend," she blurted out finally and a bit louder than she had meant to. She hoped no one was outside the door or else they would be busted. "I didn't have one when we were here the other day or at the restuarant. I just thought you'd like to know." She shrugged her shoulders in a casual way.

A smile crept onto Ace’s face, as he realized what Ariella had sad. Maybe this is turning out better than he thought, the whole leaving town thing. At least Ariella now has a shoulder to leave on, if she gets sad that Ace leaves, but what Angelline? What would happen to her? Ace had to shake it off, and tell Ariella what was going to happen. “That’s great!,” He exclaimed. He put his hands on both sides of her face, and pressed his forehead against hers, “That’s great.” He was whispering now, because of his last outburst. Just like before, he hoped no one was standing outside the door. “I should be going now…” He whispered.

Ariella smiled brightly when Ace said how great it was that she had a boyfriend. He actually said it a bit louder than needed. Her gaze shifted to the door, again hoping that no one was out there. Her gaze then went back to Ace as he moved closer to her. His hands felt warm against her cheeks or maybe that was just her own body temperature rising. She stayed quiet while he said it was great again only in a much softer voice this time. She couldn't argue with him about the greatness of it. She thought it was pretty great herself. At Ace's words that he was about to leave, Ariella reached into her pocket and pulled out the necklace Ace had given her. "Here. You should probably take this back."

Ace raised his eyebrow as he saw that she was returning his necklace. Who did she think he was? Some sort of pimp or something? Heck no. He glared at Ariella with a rather cold look. “Are you insulting me by returning that necklace?” He said, as he got closer. “I got it for you, and it should stay with you.” He closed her hand, the one with the necklace, and getting out of his seat slightly, gave her a kiss on the forehead. “Now I should be going,” He said, as he walked down the door, not caring to look back. It would be too painful.

Ariella sat there just blinking for a moment. She didn't mean to inssult Ace by returning the necklace. She actually really liked it. She just didn't want to upset Ken by wearing it. Of course she could always hide it away somewhere. She still had the box after all, but what a waste of a beautiful necklace that would be. She looked up quickly when Ace said he was going, but not quickly enough. He had already kissed her forehead and was halfway to the door. She didn't see any reason why she should move from her spot. He seemed to be in a hury, so she just said "Good-bye" in a very soft voice.

Ace stopped as he neared the door. “I’ll be back one day. Don’t forget me,” He said, aloud. He didn’t care if anyone was watching them. Or rather, listening to them outside the door. He really wasn’t even a student at that school anymore, and whatever anyone said didn’t matter to him. He would just muscle himself out of it. He did that with almost any situation. With a wave of his hand, he left the room. He would be back in this room one day, making out with some girl or the other. He was going to make sure of it.

Ariella sighed softly when Ace walked out of the door. She wondered why he was going and where to, but he had said that he would be back. This made her feel better. She looked at the nexklace still clutched in her hand. A faint smile crossed her lips as she put the necklace around her neck before she stood up and walked out of the room alone.
