Ariella had woken up way to early that morning and because of the loud and noisy chriping of the birds, she couldn't go back to sleep. Sinally, she simply threw on her clothes and went outside. It was still dark though she could see a faint tinge of gray to the east. "Stupid birds," she mumbled to herself, yawning widely. She half stumbled to the porch swing and sat down it. Maybe if she closed her eyes, she would eventually fall back asleep...and probably stay that way till noon or later. Ah well, she didn't have school today. She closed her eyes and tilted her head back in a comfortable poisition.
An hour later, she was no closer to sleep though she was thinking some rather interesting thoughts...about Ken. Finally, she gave up on the whole prospect of sleep and just opened her eyes. The sky was now a delicate shade of pink though the sun was still not up. It would be soon though, and it would be a beautiful sun rise. She could tell already.

Ace was just driving by the neighborhood on his bike. It was still early morning, and by early, he meant early. The sun still hadn’t risen, but Ace didn’t feel the need to turn on the headlights. He could see well enough, considering that it wouldn’t be long before the sun rose. This seemed like the perfect day for Ace, the only problem was, that he was restless. He couldn’t sleep. Something unsettled him, but he himself didn’t know what. Who did? Ace was a complex guy. Always doing this, or that, and never doing it twice. He changed, though. He’s not so much of a flirt anymore, thankfully.
He passed by a cabin, on the edge of town. It was still in the neighborhood, but so far away from everyone else. A smile crept onto his face, as he saw somebody sitting on the porch. It was no one other than Ariella herself. Ace pulled over, and stopped on the sidewalk. Parking his motorcycle, he leaned back towards and it. “Miss me?,” He asked.

Ariella looked up when she heard the roar of a motorcycle engine. It was too early for anyone to be up and about...anyone but Ace McCloud apparently. Ariella watched as the brown-haired teen parked his motorcycle and got off. He looked up at her and a small smile twitched at the corners of her lips. "Not really," she answered him, yawning in a bored fashion. Despite these words her fingers touched the chain around her neck. It was the necklace Ace had given her. She wore it pratically every day and every where, but most of it was hidden under her shirt. "So whatcha doing here, Mr. McCloud?"
