September raised her eyebrow slightly at Naomi's strange questions. Okay, maybe they weren't so strange, but she had given her freedom to ask anything, and the best she could come up with was what's your favorite color? September moved her left wing in a sort of shrug before answering the question. "My favorite color is light blue, you know the color of the sky just before the sun rises. My favorite hobby? Well, I used to like herding dream sheep. I know it sounds weird, but they're really cool and peaceful. I've been too busy watching the border lately though to go out and see them." She turned slightly to look out the window. The train hadn't even left the station yet.
She turned back to face Naomi. "So what about you? What's your favorite color and stuff?" She gave her a small smile as she looked at her. The mundane and everyday questions seemed to be making for at least somewhat interesting conversation. It was better than just staring at each other.

Naomi leaned back against her seat and crossed her arms behind her head, leaning her head against them and staring at the ceiling, crossing one leg over the other. She wondered for a moment whether the crazy boy was going to get on the train, but the thought stopped when the train began to move. If he wanted to get on now, he'd better jump.
"My favourite colour would probably be either dark, forest green or... dark blue. My hobbies include exploring, breaking things, training, and starting up random conversations with people on trains."
The last one was a joke, although it wasn't quite said with the proper tone of voice. So in a way it was funny because it sounded so serious.
"And I also like finding information about both sides of the war, although I just can't seem to make a decision."
She also liked the whole fact that she was pretty much feared by both sides because they never knew what side she was on, or what she was going to tell the other side. She never would betray either side though, regardless of what people may think, but being feared was fun.

September felt the train start to vibrate under her as it started to move. She turned her head to look out the window as the train slid past the statioon. She turned her head back to Naomi and situated herself more comfortably while she answered the question. These seats really weren't made for winged beings. They made her wings poke into her back and stuff. She didn't really know what to do about this, so she kept shifting, trying her best to find a comfortable poisition.
September smirked slightly at the last of Naomi's hobbies, but she was much more iinterested in the exploring one. "Have you been past the border yet?" She asked in a casual sort of voice. September rarely ever crossed the border and then it was just for a few feet, not enough to really know what it was like. She didn't really want to know, but sometimes she was curious...just a little.

From the corner of her eyes, or the bottom, since she was looking upwards at the moment, she could see that September was fidgeting, probably to get a better seating position. It was at times like these she was glad she didn't have wings. They would be so... inconvenient for her. When she was asked the question, she nodded nonchalantly, looking back down at the angel for a moment before turning her gaze back to the ceiling.
"Indeed I have. Many a time."
If she was asked for more detail she would gladly tell more, but all she had been asked was if she had been over there yet. She took her questions very seriously, and never answered more than what was asked of her. It was one of her.. quirks.

"Interesting," Septtember said, putting her fingers together steeple fashion. She didn't really care about what was beyond the border, just that Naomi had been beyond it. She didn't want to heighten her curiousity until she just had to go and see what was there. She much perfered it this way. She didn't want to know, not really anyways. "Have you ever run into The Nothing?" She asked again with a casual tone. She wanted to know whether or not this blue-haired man had done any harm to this girl. It might seem trivial to some, but September knew of The Nothing's powers better than most.

Run into The Nothing? It was practically impossible not to run into The Nothing. It was like he was everywhere, and no being passed the border without his knowing. Yes, she'd run into The Nothing. It seemed he had liked her 'potential'. She smirked at the thought. As much as she wanted to chose a side for this war, she also liked being neutral, free to wander between the two lands as she wished, and making allies on both sides.
"I have. Quite an interesting character, that one is."
Thinking back to that day, she was remembering how surprised she had been that bewond the border, farther than anyone from The Land of Milk and Cookies would be able to see, the Nightmare Grotto wasn't all just dead stuff and darkness. There were lakes, and grass and forests too. Sure, it was made out of fears, but it's amazing what a variety of fears some people have. Say they have a fear of bugs, there would be butterflies and ladybugs and flies and bees. If they were afraid of drowning there would be lakes and ponds, even puddles. Quite an interesting, diverse set-up, the Nightmare Grotto was.

September nodded her head slowly at Naomi's comment about The Nothing being an interesting character. "Aye, he is, but he's also evil, so I'd be careful around him. You really don't want him to know to much about you. He'll turn even the simplest, seemingly useless bits of information against yo and sometimes without your knowing until it's too late that is." She fell silent for a moment while she changed her position again. "Darn wings," she said in frustration. "I wish I could absorb them into my back. At least then I'd be able to sit comfortably." She sighed aoftly while she continued trying to find a good position. Finally, she leaned forward, spread out her wings and moved them behind the back of the seat. "Finally," she said, sighing in relief.
