In the beginning, when the world was new and humans were still living in caves, there were three brothers. Each led their own clans, each living in harmony with the others. The eldest brother was Locklyn, leader of the wolf clan. Next was Vladimir, leader of the bat clan. The youngest was Damion of the fire clan. Each of the brothers followed different customs and beliefs.
Vladimir and Damion both had found wives, while Lochlyn remained without. That was until he found a young girl who had abandoned in the forest by her mother. She was five years of age. He took her to his clan and gave her to one of the village women to take care of. She was named Kehye.
The years rolled by and Lochlyn watched Kehye grow into a beautiful young woman. He fell in love with her, as she had done with him. They arranged a marriage and invited all of the other clans to attend. When Vladimir first set eyes on her, he instantly wanted her for his own, despite his three wives. The night before the wedding, he stole her from Lochlyn and his clan followed him away into the night.
Lochlyn was furious when he found that his love had been taken by his own brother. He declared war upon him, asking Damion for alliance. Damion loved both his brothers equally and refused to aid either. Lochlyn banished Damion to the volcanic mountains. He then took his best warriors and went to the enchanted waters of his mother. He called upon her to give his people power. And indeed she did. She turned the warriors to werewolves. Though there was a curse to this. Every full moon they must be in their wolf form lest they die.
When Vladimir got word of this, he too went to the waters of his mother and demanded a gift to his people. She indeed gave his people a gift. The gift to live forever and have superhuman senses. However, they would die in sunlight and must drink blood in order to survive.
Damion, feeling left out, also asked for a gift. She turned his people into Demons, forever to have horns and large, black bat wings. The werewolves and vampires both shunned him, calling his people evil. Some of the members from both Vladimir's and Lochlyn's clan pitied the demons and left to ask to join the demons. Damion refused, though some of the demons left with the Vampires and Werewolves.
The wars waged on, many being killed. The band of outcasts created new species. Hybrids if you will. The Vamlows, werewolf and vampires. The Dempires, demon and vampire. And the Weremons, werewolf and demon. The humans mingled with vampires to make Dhampirs. They mingled with werewolves to make shape shifters. Though they did not mingle demons, believing they were evil.
The year is now 2157. Humans have separated from the Werewolves, Vampires and Demons. They fear their power and create new ways to kill them. The half breeds live in clans of their own, watching the wars between Vampires and Werewolves. The Original leaders, Vladimir, Lochlyn and Damion have been lost to the world since 1496. Prophets of each race say the coming of the brothers is near, and when they come, so shall the apocalypse.
Will you be one of the few who hunt the creatures of the night? A pure-breed? A halfbreed? Or will you be one the creatures who stand back watch the 3 bothers
