"Don't be sorry" he said. "Besides, you can seen as weak. They will underestimate you. That in itself is an advantage. But I come off as the huge thing with teeth and claws that will rip you to shreds at a moments notice." He shuddered at the thought.

She blushed lightly and looked down, feeling like an ungrateful b!tch. "Sorry," she muttered. I love being human. I love being human, she thought. "It must really suck." Even in the Dream World, prejudice still existed and that especially sucked. In dreams everything was supposed to be different.

Stormcleaver was watching this scene from top of a nearby tree. He had been watching ever since the girl had been watching the Nightmare Grotto. She has no idea what exists there, and never will. All the sandmen were ignorant, they hated the Nightmare Grotto only because it seemed evil. That was not true, nor will it ever be. There were puppies, horses, roses, everything that human’s had proven to be afraid of, but all the Sandmen did was criticize them. Breaking him out of his train of thought was a Demonika crashing and rolling a few feet in the ground. He was injured. Stormcleaver smiled. There was now 2 people to prey on.
He noticed that the Demonika and the human girl were having a conversation. The demonika of course had to be a boy. People in the Land Of Milk and Cookies were always constantly flirting, but yet, they swore that they did no sins. “Pitiful bastards,” Stormcleaver spat, as he jumped from the tree. He landed on his feet, despite that it was a 30 foot jump, and walked over to the scene, or rather, teleported behind the girl. He didn’t say anything, but yet, drew his sword lightning fast. He too was a human, but he was far stronger than ¾ of the Nothing Army and the Sandmen combined. “Now you die,” Stormcleaver spat in his low whispery voice.

Tane nodded. Of course it sucked. A movement caught his eye. Another human by his scent. Tane, however wounded he was, was on his feet instantly. A growl emanated from deep within his chest. His pupils dilated into small dots in his lenses. How could he get at this..... Man without hurting Mary? Perhaps his sonic scream? That could very well deafen him, but Mary was closer than he. If only he could tell her to block her ears without letting him know. Or maybe perhaps his plasma blasts. Ugh, if only Mary wasn't where she was he thought to himself.
"What do you want, human filth?" he spat. He should be ashamed to call himself human. Tane's mood was not the best and fighting with the beast inside was not the easiest thing to do. His eyes would flicker with bright blue light, drowning out the metallic blue lenses and 3 pupils.

Mary made a face before a sound reached her ears. She recognized it and in the blink of an eye, she was facing Stormcleaver with her two swords drawn. The design on the blade and hilt were shimmering slightly as the sunlight bounced off of them. "Do you at least have a reason for threatening us in such a way?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. He seemed to be like her; a human with enhanced abilities.

Stormcleaver looked at the demonika. “your kind are more pitiful than ever.” Stormcleaver smiled. He liked to insult other beings whenever he got the chance. Hell, he liked insulting more than fighting, as he didn’t even care that the girl he teleported behind had jumped and drawn her two swords. “Put those toys down before you hurt yourself, little girl,” He said, glaring at the human. Turning back to the demon, he said, coldly, “I’m here to kill.” Looking back at the human, he added, “Both of you.”
He drew his sword, and jumped at the girl with inhuman speed. Just as he was close enough to swing and possibly hit her, he teleported behind the demon. “I’ll kill you first.” He said, as he put his sword next to the demon’s neck. Whispering into his ear, he added, “Don’t make the mistake of using any of your powers, I have the tendency to move quite fast and you might end up hitting that little girl there.”

Mary watched and listened carefully. She winced at the words little girl. When Stormcleaver came at her, all she had to do was step out of the range of his sword. As soon as Stormcleaver's sword was on Tane's neck, her two swords were an X around his. Maybe Tane was right. There was a bit of an advantage in being underestimated. She didn't like it, but it was extremely useful. "I really don't enjoy killing," she said. "So could you just get the fxck out?"

Tane chuckled Darkly. "Then by all means kill me." In the back of his head, his logical self was screaming at him to turn around and attack. He simply brushed aside this little voice. This time, when the searing pain coursed through his body, he let it take over. Large spines pushed their way through his skin, appearing from his spine, the sides of his arms, down his tail and on the inside of his lower legs. His teeth grew large and sharp as his horns grew longer and curled around the sides of his face. Claws grew longer as well as blue glowed brightly from his eye sockets.
Very slowly, he reached for 2 of his quad-tipped stars. With a rapid movement, he jerked his arms back wards in the hopes of lodging them deep into the humans gut. Just in case that didn't work, he flared bright white light about himself.

Stormcleaver watched as the girl planned to stop his swords. He laughed slightly, knowing that all he needed was a little push and all three swords would go into the demon. The injured demon, which didn’t really stand a chance against a pissed Stormcleaver. But then, the demon changed. No, more like transformed, into a meaner, stronger form. It didn’t matter, he was going to die anyway. He felt a elbow in his gut, and teleported at that instant. He teleported in front of the demon, in between the girl’s swords, and the demon. He was about to drive the sword into the demon, when he felt some sort of aura. This time, he teleported behind the girl. And in the process, ran through her side with his sword, which he knew, must have cut her right arm just enough so she would not be able to control her sword.

Once he disappeared, Mary moved quickly out of her spot but Stormcleaver's sword was just a little faster. One of her swords dropped out her hand. Great. Oh well. She could do almost as damage with one. After a moment, waves of calm began emanating from Mary. She hoped that was a quick way to end the fight but just in case it wasn't, she lunged at Stormcleaver, aiming to drive her sword into his chest.

Tane's throat gave way to a piercing, hell-like scream. His conscious vision was becoming darker, His will the only thing keeping him from being consumed by darkness. The bright light about him contracted before pulsating out wards at the speed of light. This attack would only effect those who were not immune to light. It could also give 4th degree burns. Skin tight bubbles of light were the only things keeping himself and Mary from being severely injured. The blast was 4 miles in diameter.

Stormcleaver noticed that both of them attacked. It was like a rhythm. First it was the girl, then it was the demon. Each did something that would help the other one. She would occupy him while he would attack. Simple stuff. He had to stay on the safe side and attack them one on one. He teleported behind the demon instantly, not caring if he did get hit. He was behind the demon, just as the demon unleashed a attack. The girl was still there. She was going to get hit, just hopefully.
Stormcleaver pulled his arm backwards, sword in hand, and thrust towards the demon’s legs. That would be the smart thing to do. Killing him fast would be no enjoyment.

Mary braced herself but was surprised when she didn't drop to the ground dead instantly. That Demonika must've done something, she thought. It was hard to see in the blinding white light but she could kind of feel somehow where Stormcleaver was and where his sword was going. Hers immediately shot out to block his attack. She marveled at a moment at the fact that just a human was turning out to be a formidable opponent.

She glanced over at the "angel" as he fell out of the sky and was about to go help him when she stopped herself. Something didn't feel right about the creature. Mary narrowed her eyes and quickly turned her attention back to Stormcleaver. She'd figure out what the "angel" really was after she won this fight. Besides, if he was what he appeared to be, he'd last.
