After fighting with Tane the demonika she had sustained various wounds in all stages of severity so for the moment Alexis was taking a much needed break. Looking at her major wound a cut that spanned from her collar bone to her waist she cursed. Her clothes were fixed, and the bloodstains had been washed out, but her wounds were another story entirely. Morridon lay at her side his cuts healed since they transferred to her. Sighing she lay back and looked up at the sky.
No clouds marred it's surface, it was just glaringly bright. Reaching behind her she took off her blades, quiver, and bow so she could lie flat on her back. Once that menial task was done she lay back closing her eyes and spread her wings out. The wind rustled her silver hair so that it covered her face, but she was to lazy to move it.

Since everything was a blur to him at that moment, Glandforth didn’t notice it when he tripped over a fallen angel. No pun intended. She was on the ground, quite injured, he noticed as he got up. She probably had another bruise, thanks to Glandforth. She was near the border, on the wrong side. Glandforth was neutral, so his Visa allowed him to go anywhere and everywhere. “Hey, I’m sorry.” He said, gaining his composure, as he slid over 10 feet after he tripped. That’s exactly how fast he was going. Pretty fast, huh?
But the reason he tripped over her was because he was doing his daily border to border run. He started from the western border of The Land Of Milk and Cookies, and ran to the eastern border of the Nightmare Grotto, and since his mind had been so wrapped up by Ace’s new feeling towards this girl he met, Angelline, he wasn’t really thinking straight and couldn’t tell when he saw this being on the ground.

Alexis had felt the impact of a stranger on her side and let out a gasp of pain. Swiftly she reached over and picked up one of her blades holding it at the stranger as she sat up. Glaring at him she moved the stray pieces of hair that had fallen into her face and roughly pushed it behind her ears. "Say sorry all you like that doesn't erase the pain," she snapped at him. Looking him over she couldn't really tell what he was but she knew he was fast judging by how far he had slid and the impact. Suddenly she realized he seemed a bit familiar.
Morridon had seen the whole thing and had instantly launched to his feet crouching low to the ground. Growling he bared his fangs at the boy wanting to take out his pent up anger on him.

Glandforth smiled, as he saw that she had drawn her weapon, or twin blades, to be exact. “Hey, I really am sorry.” An instant later, he was a few inches away from her face, as he put his hand on her blades, and pushed down, hoping to know them out of her hand, “And surely we can resolve this without fighting, cant we?” He was still smiling, even though he heard her large cat growl. In a way, it was cute, it was like a protector. “Hello, kitty.” Glandforth said, waving with his free hand.

Snarling at the boy's audacity to touch her weapons Alexis drew back so their faces weren't so close. Yanking her weapons away from his hands she placed them back in their sheaths. Sending a silent message to Morridon the black panther nodded his head. "No. We can't." With that said Alexis fell flat on the ground and rolled away grabbing her previously discarded weapons just as Morridon lept over her to pounce on the stranger.
Wincing as her cut re-opened and started to bleed she strapped her weapons back in place. Tucking her feet she sprang out of the roll and landed on her feet. She braced herself with her wings and watched in grim satisfaction as Morridon attacked.

He smiled, as he drew back, but felt pain in his fingers. He looked down, and noticed as she pulled back, she had cut his fingers, accidentally. Judging from her words, she would have done it anyway. He noticed, out of the corner of his eye, the kitty, as he called it, nodded his head. Or, her head. He didn’t care, not like he liked the thing anyway. Just then, she did something he expected, she rolled away, as the kitty jumped over her and jumped towards him. Sighing, he let the cat hit him, and knock him to the ground with surprising strength.
He noticed that he had a dent in his armor, as he could fell it against his skin. “d**n cat, you messed up my armor….Take a mint, kitty, your breath stinks.” He said, wrinkling up his nose, to add emphasis. Cats had feelings too, he thought. He disappeared, and then reappeared somewhere no one else thought possible. On top of the kitty. He sat on the cat, as it still didn’t notice him, like it was a horse. Turning back to the angel he had just encountered, he said, “It had always been my dream to ride a horse, but this works, too.”

Alexis smirked at Morridon's impact, feeling the satisfaction rolling off of him in waves. Hearing a slight crunching noise she looked closer and saw that there was now a dent in his armor. His shouted oath made her laugh, but she quickly cut off the sound. It wasn't like her to laugh in a battle, and it aggravated her that she had just done that now. Mistress I smell blood on him.
Hearing Morridon's message Alexis re-played the last few moments in her head wondering how he had gotten cut and realized it must've been from when she pulled her blades back. Good let him bleed. Soon he'll be bleeding much more heavily. Launching herself in the air she looked down upon the two and growled when he dissapeared and reappeared on top of Morridon.
"Get...off...him," she snarled, spacing out the words for added emphasis. "NOW!" Taking out her shukusen, a deadly fan with sharp, bladelike edges, she swept it down in a crescent arch and watched as blades of wind escaped it headed straight for the annoying man.

He looked at her, high in the air. “Doesn’t it hurt to fly, when you’re so injured, I mean?” he said, tempting her to just calm down, and have a talk. He didn’t hate anyone, other than The Nothing, even if they were on his army. Or hers. She got even madder, he noticed, as she drew out this fan with blades on the ends. “Hey, is that portable? I want one.” he said, pointing towards her weapon.
He had seen one of these before, in one of his previous fights. He learned how to take the force of the wind, and use it to your advantage. Simply, turn your back to it. It was strange, but it usually worked. Glandforth immediately “disappeared” and “reappeared” below the cat. He was face down, this time. Sure, the trick wasn’t usually like this, but the kitty was stunned, and would likely take most of the damage. Glandforth did wince, due to the dent in his armor, it was more like a puncture. With pointy tips at the end, it dug into his flesh, and caused blood to pour out. He was mad, because now his armor was beyond simple repair. He turned around, and grabbed the cat. Knocking the cat’s legs out from under it, the cat fell on him, but Glandforth was able to hold it’s weight. This was just a precaution if the cat just happened to move.

"Though it may hurt to fly it has a better vantage point. And who are you?!" Alexis asked exasperated by his playful attitude. It was guys like this that brought on her temper, but she took the most pleasure in killing them as well. And it'll be so fun to torture him, she thought.
Her eyes widened in shock as the man dissapeared again only to reappear below Morridon. As he knocked the feet out from the panther Alexis let out a gasp of pain at the same time as Morridon. The impact from him hitting the armor was the same as if she was the one to be hit. Their link could be a pain sometimes, but it did come with it's advantages. Seeing her blades of wind making a direct course for Morridon she snarled and clenched her left hand into a fist effectively getting rid of it. "You really are an impertinent man," she muttered putting her shukusen back in it's pouch.
Sighing she landed on the ground a few paces away from the two, but she was far from over. Collecting the shadows from around her she waited until she had enough strength and started to form a five pointed star in the air using the shadows. Once finished she dipped her finger in her own blood and smeared it on the shadowy design and watched as it turned from black to a dark crimson color. With a flick of her wrist she sent the design hurtling toward Morridon and watched as the panther was engulfed in the shadows only to dissapear a moment later. Alexis collapsed to the ground panting slightly. That useful technique took up a lot of energy. Hopefully she'd get it back in time to fight this man.

“How’s the view? And how’s my hair?” He asked, hoping to annoy her even further. He loved joking around in fights, only if the joke was returned. You always need a little comedy, no matter what you’re doing. Except for funerals. The people might bury you instead if you try and make jokes about the deceased. That’s a no-no.
“Impertinent? I prefer….Worthy opponent.” He said, winking, as he got jumped up. He felt pain in his chest, as he looked down, and saw that due to the kitty’s weight, the wound had dug in even further. Time to take off the armor, he thought. It would make him faster, but if somehow she managed to hit him, he would be in trouble. Taking it off was painful, however, as it required him to remove it upwards. Like you know, over his face and stuff. He took it off, not caring about the pain. A lengthy cut had opened up on him. The place of the original wound , was where it started, moved up, stopped at his throat, continued at his chin, and barely missed his eye. “You made me bleed. Happy now? And I already miss the kitty.” he said, running a hand over his wounds.
She collapsed, which was something that was totally unexpected. He started to walk towards her, but then stopped in his tracks. She might have something else planned. She could be faking it. Instead, he walked back, got his sword, disappeared, and in less than a split second, appeared over her, holding his sword. “If you move, I’ll kill you. On a happy note, I’m Glandforth Slayer, and you, my darling, are one fine example of an angel.”

"You're no more of a worthy opponent than any of the other Sandmen I've killed," Alexis said, still a bit shaky. Looking up she saw him remove the armor. Ideas on how to wound him began to race through her head, but for now she'd stick with simple things, for she didn't have the power to do anything more except for her basic attacks.
"And I won't be happy until I see you dead," she said feeling a little bit more of her strength return. Hearing him walking towards her she smirked, her head bowed so he wouldn't see her facial expressions. Soon however the noises stopped. Wondering what was going on Alexis raised her head a bit only to feel his presence behind her. With a low oath she bowed her head again not wanting to alert him to her distress. "Well Glandforth I'm not an example of a good angel. Otherwise I wouldn't be disgraced from the rest of my clan. Let me sing you a song though in honor of your victory," she whispered, in honeyed tones.
Taking a deep breath of air Alexis started to sing. Her voice was lovely, but it was all a trick, for as she sang the winds answered to her call swirling sublty beneath her hands. It gathered waiting to be unleashed on Glandforth.

Glandforth’s speed came from his legs. Which meant, he had total control over his legs. What she failed to realize, is that since he had been training with them for so long, he also could hear and feel things from their perspective. He felt the wind gathering near his feet. No way it could have been a very, very low cloud. It had to do with her song. Kneeling down, he said, “You angels, and your tricks. Pathetic. Try it on someone who isn’t as advanced as me?” He said, through gritted teeth. He hated when people played tricks. He loved fair fights, and he would have killed the angel right there, but he didn’t want to. At least, not yet. He wanted to see her trick, and if it was good, he would let her live. If not, he would either seriously injure her, or just kill her. “Before you continue, tell me who the pathetic being who even dreamt of you?”

Alexis smirked and stopped her song. "Very well. I see the game's over. Oh well." Rolling to the side she moved so that she was close to Glandforth and smiled. "I don't care what you think of me. As long as you're dead," she whispered as she hit him in the stomach and let the violent air currents she had harnessed blast from her hands. It was a cheap shot, but she had never said she would play fair.
Completing her roll she fell to her knees and used her wings to project herself into the air. Beads of sweat had started to form on her brow and the loss of blood was causing her to see things through a hazy perspective. Blinking her eyes, she gritted her teeth to clear her vision and glared down at Glandforth. "Words are pointless and oh so repetitive."

Glandforth was hit, but no by surprise, he knew that foul play was involved. He rolled 10 feet before he realized that. But he had no idea that she was going to hit him at that exact moment. It was so unexpected. He could have dodged it if he knew about it, but sadly, he didn’t. Now all he could think was that he should have kept his armor on. The attack didn’t spill blood, but he started to cough. Cough blood. He was sure he had broken a few ribs, as he thought, striking the ground with his fist. He heard a crack. It was his knuckle. “Can this get any better?” He said to himself, looking at his broken knuckle, and clenching his broken rib. Or well, ribs.
He managed to get up, in a rather deformed pose. He had to shift his weight to his right leg, as the ribs that were broken were on his left side. He was breathing heavily too. Before he spoke, he wiped the blood that was around the corner of his lips. “Such a pitiful angel. You still didn’t tell me. Who is your dreamer?” He said. He started to cough.

Alexis saw him roll to the side and was shocked. No one had ever been able to see through her moves before and she had to give him credit. Even she knew a good fighter when she saw one. Clapping her hands she shook her head. "It can get better for me, but not for you," she whispered to herself. Alexis was slowly growing tired of the fight and she felt the stress from the previous nights compile on her weakened body. Clenching her fists she shook her head visciously. NO! I can't give up. "I won't." Those words were a declaration to both her thoughts and him.
"Tell me who is yours?" she asked as she reached a shaky hand behind her to unstrap her bow from her back and take an arrow out of her quiver. Lining it up she pointed it straight at him waiting for his response. The bow shook with the effort it took to stretch it, but she bit her lip to stifle the small groan of pain.
