Ariella listened to Ken's plan. It sounded like a good one to her. Go to the movies then a sleep over. Wait a minute. Sleep over? She eyd Ken suspiciously. "And where would I be sleeping? I have these back problems and if the place I'm sleeping is too hard, like the floor, I have a backache the next day." She twirled a strand of her hair nonchalantly. It wasn't a lie. She really did need to sleep somewhere soft. "Oh, and my dad won't mind if I slept at a friends. I just have to call him, so he knows where I am."

"I can't tell you where you would be sleeping because then it would ruin my whole surprise. But I promise it will be soft enough, so you don't have to worry about being comfortable." Ken had planned this since he was old enough to realize girls were attractive. He had the perfect house for such an occasion. His plan was fool proof. The movie theater was not too far away, and Ken had been ahead of schedule already. That's what he liked about this day. Usually he's all last minute, frantically trying to work something out, but today, he was prepared. It felt good. Maybe he would do it more often...
Probably not.

Ariella gave Ken a suspicious look. What exactly was he planning? The movie, the sleep over...it all spoke layers of deep and very careful planning. He also seemed to have a confident air about him, like whatever he was planning he was sure would go perfectly. Ariella suddenly remembered her dad talking to her about a year ago. Beware of a guy's plans, he had told her. They only plan for special things. Now as Ariella thought about her father's words, she suddenly realized what her dad had meant by "special." But was what he said true? What was Ken planning? Ariella didn't know or didn't really care. She was just curious, like someone wondering what made a soup taste so good. She didn't really care what was in the soup, just curious what made it taste it good. "Can I get some candy at the movies?" She asked Ken. They had fallen into a sort of silennce, not the stressed kind though.

"Oh of course you can," Ken said. He was loaded with cash this day. He broke his piggy bank, before realizing that there was a pop off bottom. Ken pulled up to the movie theater, and with his seatbelt already unbuckled, hopped out and ran to Ariella's side as fast as he could, opening her door. "Today, I've spared no expense," Ken said, leaning in for a kiss.

Ariella ssmiled brightly when Ken sai she could have some candy. She had big plans for that candy. Mostly she was gonna eat it, but she also planned on throwing it at random people. She unbuckled her seatbelt and was about to open the door when it popped open. There stood Ken, looking quite handsome. Ariella gave him a small smirk when she saw that he was expecting a kiss. She contemplated ignoring him and just getting out, but that would be rude and cruel. She lightly kissed his lips, not intending to do anything more, but once again her body seemed to have a mind of its own as she slowly deepened the kiss.

Ken was surprised when Ariella deepend the kiss. He didn't intend for a deep one, but it seemed Ariella wanted it. But the movie was to start soon, so he had to break it. But he didn't want to seem he didn't want it, so he smiled. "Come on, babe, there is plenty of time for this all day." Ken said, taking Ariella's hand to help her out of the car. Holy, Ken thought to himself, she's a smoking babe. She was. It made Ken happy everytime he realized he was with her. And it made him happier when he thought of the night's plan... and how much Ariella would love him after.

Ariella cringed at the word babe. She hated it. It made her feel like an ingant, a helpless, little baby who needed to be taken care of and looked after and protected. She was not a baby, and she certainly didn't need to be taken care of or looked after or protected. She could do all of that herself. She was a teenager, not a teeny baby or a damsel in distress. This was why as soon as Ken had helpedd her out of the car, she accidentally-on purpose stepped on his foot. "Whoops," she said softly, smirking slightly, before starting to walk towards the movie theater, crossing her arms in front of her chest.

Ken wasn't an idiot. He knew he said something wrong when Ariella walked on ahead, with her arms crossed. It took him a moment, but he narrowed the possibilities down to three things. She didn't like Ken's suggestive notion of kissing all night, didn't like being called 'babe' or didn't like being helped out of a car. All three things Ken thought to avoid from now on. Now all he needed to do was continue the night as planned, after a tad bit of damage control. Ken ran up to her side, and put his hand on his head, keeping pace. "So, I've come to a conclusion here... you don't like being called babe, do you?" Ken asked, guessing horribly. But it was the most beleivable of the three...

Ariella slowed her pace slightly when Ken correctly guessed why she was annoyed, a small smile creeping on to her lips. Despite her ddetermination, her frosty air was quickly thawing. "No, I don't. I also don't like being called baby or chick. Everything else is okay though at least until I say otherwise." She gave Ken a smirk almost as if she was saying I'm the boss here, not you. In truth, Ariella didn't feel that way. She was fine with Ken being in charge here, but she felt that it was her choice on what he called her. "I think I'm gonna get some M&Ms," she said in casual way.

Ken was relieved. At least he knew what he did wrong... no baby, no chick.... no babe. He could do it, it wasn't a difficult request. They would have to meet on equal ground. "Hey no problem, all you had to do was tell me, Ariella," Ken said. Then he heard her request for M&M's, which was perfect because he felt like some Swedish Berries. "M&M's and Swedish berries it is, then. Could there be a better breakfast!?" Ken got excited. The movie was about to start, and they could lift up the arms so they could snuggle while watching the movie. A huge smile crossed his face as he realized this.

Ariella smiled brightly when Ken said it would be a perfect breakfast. She had already eaten breakfast though. "Oh, I don't-" Suddenly she stopped talking when she saw Ken's huge grin. "You might not want to grin so much. Someone might think you were planning something." She uncrossed her arms and reached out to take Ken's hand in her own.

Ken took Ariella's hand when she reached out, a smiled even bigger, sticking his tounge out a bit when she accused him of planning something. "And if I was planning something? Would that be a problem? It's nothing bad." Ken began to laugh. The night would be perfect, priceless. "I promise." Ken held Ariella's and tight, but not tight to hurt her. He walked up to the Cashier and ordered two tickets to the movie. They were slightly earlier then expected, but all was well.

Ariella merely laughed when Ken promised what he was planning wasn't bad. She already knew he was planning something, the question was what was he planning. She stood next to Ken quietly while he got the tickets. She could feel people looking at her probably boys. They did it pretty much wherever she went, and she really couldn't understand why. Ken probably could understand because he was a guy, but to her it seemed pointless. She didn't mind though. Why should she? It was their brains. If they waned to fill it with her image, that was up to them. "So Ken, what are you planning?" She asked suddenly.

"Do you really want to know? It would basically ruin the surprise." Ken said. He was being honest. If she desperatly needed to know, Ken would tell her, but his plan would be smashed. "If I say it's nothing bad, shouldn't that be enough?" Ken said, and walked with Ariella to the concession stand, getting their yum-yums.

Ariella gave him a small smile. "I'm just insanely curious," she said brightly. "I need to think about something else or better yet not think at all." She gave Ken a small smirk as they walked over to the conession stand. Ariella could already smell the popcorn and here the drinks being made. "Can I have a coke too?" She asked Ken. Kissing tended to be thirsty work, and there was no way they were going to leave without kissing a little bit. Making out was part of the reason why couples went to the movie agter all.
