Angelline let out a sigh of relief as she collapsed into one of the chairs at a small cafe she had been introduced to. It was a quaint little shop that reminded her of one she used to go to everday back home. Little tables sat under the shade of large umbrella's and the cafe itself served a variety of things from simple snacks and drinks to full blown meals. Taking off her backpack she drapped it over the back of the chair as a waitress came over to give her a menu. Waving her hand Angelline ordered a cup of chamomile tea and a chocolate cake. Smiling the waitress nodded her head and went back inside to get her order.
Smiling after the woman Angelline looked around at the occupied table and the busy streets with a wistful look on her face. Her days had been a bit lax and boring with the same old routine of school and training at the mansion. For some reason she couldn't call it home, only Paris was home in her mind, even with all the things that had happened there. I guess I haven't adjusted yet. she thought, just as the waitress came back with her order. Nodding her head and saying a small thank you Angelline took a large sip from the tea and sighed in pleasure at the soothing aroma and taste.

Ace walked into the café. It had been over 4 days since he had left town, and he figured that he might as well give it a visit. Or rather, give the park a visit. That was the place for him, it was practically home. It cleared his mind a bit, it almost lured to him to stay, but somehow, he resisted it. He had been able to leave the park. He had come to the café for a drink, knowing that it would be fairly empty, considering it was school time. Looking around, he noticed a familiar face. “Angelline,” He breathed. She was always skipping school. His motorcycle keys dropped from his hand. As they hit the ground, they brought him back to reality.
He walked over to her, and took a seat. He waved his hand to order. After ordering, he looked at Angelline. Leaning forward on his elbows, he spoke. “Hey.” he sighed. He knew he was probably going to get slapped, but he didn’t care. She deserved to get answers, and this was probably the best way. His drink came in at that instant, and he took a sip of it. Licking his lips, he looked back at angelline.

Angelline had taken out a book that the English teacher had assigned the class to read and write a report on. Since she was missing so much school time it was difficult to keep up with class but she didn’t care. Her grades had always been passing…barely, but they were still acceptable grades. As she read she got lost in the world of the book surprised at how much she was actually enjoying it. The sound of keys as they hit the pavement though distracted her, the small jingling noise with the whisper of her name sounding like a gun shot from that familiar voice. Closing her eyes she gripped the book in a white knuckled grip. Ace…
Opening her eyes she saw that he had taken a seat and was leaning on the table. At his whispered hey she glared and closed the book with a sharp snap. Returning it to her bag she crossed her arms and waited for his explanation. After her conversation with Zac she had returned to school and saw that Ace was indeed gone. The pain had been tremendous, but the biting words of truth that Zac had spoken to her were able to focus her and not get lost in rage. “Hello,” she whispered in a soft voice still waiting for his explanation as he took a sip of his drink.

Ace watched on as he noticed Angelline was fighting a inner demon. One that was just wanting to slap Ace, one that wanted to hurt him. He knew that she would win, not the demon. She was special, he knew it. Thankfully, she won. He had to do something before the demon came again. He stood up, grabbed his chair, and made his way over to her side. He put the chair down, and sat on it. He reached for her hand, and gave it a tight squeeze, just enough to show her he cared, not to hurt her. “I’m sorry.” He simply said with his head bent.
How could he explain it? That he just wanted to go because he felt guilty? It would do him no better if he told her that. He had to tell her the truth, but that didn’t mean he had to tell her the whole truth. “I needed time to think. I’m just here for a visit, but I will be back,” He said, softly. He leaned forward and gave her a kiss on the forehead. “Don’t worry, I love you.”

As Ace moved his chair without explaining Angelline moved hers backwards not wanting to hear his excuses. As she was about to leave he grabbed her hand and squeezed it and said sorry. Something stopped her from moving at those simple words and gesture. It made her sit back down and sigh in regret. “Ace…how long will you say sorry when you know in the end I’ll only forgive you?” she asked, squeezing his hand in hers. It was true, for some reason she could get angry at others, herself, the world…but she never pinned the blame on him. It hurt her, but it was how her twisted heart put it.
The kiss on her cheek and his words warmed her more than the tea she had drunk previously. A small smile spread on her lips and she looked into his eyes. “I know Ace, I know.” They were the only words to think of at the moment. Minutes ticked by as she looked into his eyes seeing a bit of the pain lurking in them. Wondering what he had done during his thinking period she decided to ask. “So what have you been up to?”

Ace noticed that she had relaxed due to his actions. Hopefully it was because of his actions, if it wasn’t, he would have to pull something dramatic out of his sleeves. Thankfully, he confirmed that it was because of his actions. “As long as you’ll take me back.” He meant those words. Then, something incredible happened. Or well, something incredible to ace. He had got lost in Angelline’s eyes…AGAIN. How could that happen? Each and every time, he would get lost in her eyes. “The reason I left is,” He added a pause, to make it dramatic, of course, “So I could find a way to become immune to those golden eyes, but it didn’t work out so well.”
“I’ve been here and there. Meet a few people. Done a few things. How about you?” Ace asked her, and answered her. He wondered how many boys must have tried to go out with her, now that he was gone and she was open. Grinding his teeth together, he asked her, “Any boys messing with you?” He would have killed them.

“Of course. Take your time thinking though, I want the real you ,not a shell.” Angelline shifted in her seat as Ace stared at her for a long period of time without saying anything. She gasped sharply at his explanation of why he left. At least he still retained that part of his personality, she thought.
Listening to him talk about his little trip made her smile at how much freer he seemed outside of this town. “You seem so much more yourself outside of town, than when you’re here. Here it seems like you’re trapped, makes me wonder. And as to your questions no boys have tried messing with me. I’ve only met Daren, Ken, and Zac. All of them are nice guys, but they’re just friends.”

Ken walked around to the cafe. He'd been here before, and it wasn't so pleasent this time. He only returned because he needed a refill on his sprite. Zac and the other girl were gone. He'd wondered if they hooked up, but then Ken shook the thought out of his mind. He'd rather not have his friend with such a woman. As he was at the cafe, he turned and saw the beauty that was Angelline. Ken was going to walk over to her, when he also noticed the two-timing bastard that was Ace across from her. Oh well, he'd already had a bad day, why not make it worse you know? Ken stole a chair from another table and sat with Angelline and Ace. "Angelline!..... .... ... Ace," Kem decided not to be a thingy.... yet.

Ace raised a eyebrow as he saw a figure sit down next to them. Ken. Ace curled his hand into a fist. He felt like taking Ken out right there on the spot. But he couldn’t, no, not in front of Angelline. Not yet. Ace turned his head and faced Ken, “ken.” He said, with a nod. Turning back to Angelline, he spoke, “I think I should be leaving now. It’s getting late, and I need to be able to find a place to rest before I get too tired.” He stood up, and looked at Ken. He didn’t say anything, he just stared at him. Ken, that bastard. Why couldn’t he let Ace live in peace? He knew about Ken’s relationship with Ariella. Word got around fast, a little too fast. “Tell Ariella I said hi.” He said, as he knocked over his chair to get out of the middle of the two.

"What? Noooo. Stay! I'm sure Angelline here would like if you did." Ken said, grabbing Ace's shoulder, "And I think she'd rather hear hello from you there, Ace." Ken smiled. This was interesting. "So, Angelline, how are you doing? Any boys after you? And Ace? Any new girls in your life, ones that you didn't cheat on? Oh what a beautiful day." Ken laughed.

Angelline was a bit surprised at the sudden appearence of Ken, but she smiled good naturedly, hiding the sense of unease. Having Ace and Ken together would be quite entertaining, the two boys had such an interesting friendship. “Hey Ken. And don’t hold Ace back. If he wants to go somewhere you should let him, as for your question no boys. Just friends.”

"What!? I'm a boy. And I love you!" Ken gave Angelline a friendly hug. One arm around the shoulder, and shake. He did it to piss off Ace. "Ace my man! Come, have some cake!"

As soon as Ace felt Ken’s hand on his shoulders, he automatically threw a punch. A hard one. He didnt care anymore. Immediately after, he pounced on top of Ken, knocking over the table and some nearby chairs. He started to clobber Ken into the ground, not letting him retaliate. This was it. Ken had pushed his limits. Ace didn’t care if he was joking or not, he wanted blood. He wanted Ken’s blood. He was going to get it too. He added more strength and fury in each punch, making sure that he would injure ken as much as humanly possible.

Ken was put off by the punch that connected. But Ace was in such a blind fury that he didn't realize he was missing with each punch, punching the ground. Luckily, Ken had been watching WWE that morning, and slid through his legs like Rey Mysterio. Still on the ground, Ken kicked off Ace's back, did a hand stand, and landed on his feet. Dispite the pain in his face, and the perfect opportunity to connect Ken's foot to Ace's face, Ken smiled.
"No cake then?" Ken rubbed his hair that was now ruffled back into its proper form. "Would you mind if I had a peice, Angelline?" Ken said, sitting down, ignoring Ace.

Ace saw each of Ken’s moves and anticipated his next. Ken was too slow, too weak to match up with Ace. He didn’t hit Ken on purpose, just so he could have one chance of protecting his puny self. It was all part of the bigger picture. Sadly, Ken was too dumb, too stupid to do anything. Ace was expecting the kick, and if Ken threw it, he would ultimately break Ken’s leg, but sadly, he didn’t. He walked back over to Angelline and sat down. Ace got up, and brushed himself off. He didn’t face them, but instead, smiled. “bye.” He simply said, as he started to walk towards the door. Ken is a pregnant dog.
