Dreamers (aka Dream World Characters) don't have histories? Why not? Well, answer me this. When you dream, do your dreams usually continue on and on, so the people in tthem have the semblence of a history? Most of the time no, they do not. For this reason, the Dreamers don't have histories.

Your Dreamer is creeated the very first time you post in the Dream World. Before that there is nothing. You didn't kill a hundred members of Nothing Army. You didn't fall deeply in love with someone who betrayed. You were just created. After that first thread, then your Dreamer has a history, not a very long history, but there is one. Beforee that first post though, there is nothing.

But, wouldn't that imply that all our characters have never dreamt before their first post? What about the many years they've spent sleeping... not dreaming? That doesn't make too much sense.... What makes THIS time (being the time the dreamer was created) so special?

Poof just doesn't make sense.

You also tend not to dream the same person over and over, so that's what was happening, they were dreaming about other people.

So you didn't used to dream about the same person, then all of a sudden you started dreaming about the same person every night? Why would you have normal freams then one day just start dreaming of the same person if your justification for no history is that you dont usually dream of just one person?

Because that would be confusing. If your dreamer changed from night to night, no one would know who their characters were or anything else.

Well yeah, but why would they all of a sudden, after years of previous dreaming, start having dreams about the one person NOW.
Yeah for purposes of not having a new character every time we post, but why for purposes of the RP itself? If the real world characters have history, why not the DW character?

Um, maybe because when you grow older your imagination becomes less and less, so you only start to dream of one person. Or maybe because the one person is very important, so all the other potential Dreamers are blocked from your dreams.
